About

Geo sapiens exists to inspire and equip people to live in harmony with Earth’s living systems. By integrating environmental education, energy literacy, and career readiness—especially for youth—Geo sapiens fosters a deeper understanding of humanity’s evolving relationship with the planet.

If this seems esoteric or abstract at first, consider that many consider the creation of a "green economy" to be of economic, environmental and even existential importance.   If even one of these three - economic, environmental or existential - are important to you, then integrating environmental education, energy literacy, and career readiness could be of interest to you!

Through engaging, meaningful, and creative experiences, Geo sapiens encourages us all to connect science, culture, and emotion in ways that inspire positive action for environmental and social challenges.   In Boulder County, this especially means connecting high school students with businesses.   Consider one example:  The Green Business Mentor List (see information, below).

Martin Ogle, founder of Geo sapiens lives in Louisville, and would love to connect with any and all businesses in Louisville and Boulder County that are interested in finding out more.  Please contact Martin at MartinOgle@hotmail.com.

Businesses - Help inspire local high school students by participating in
The Green Business Mentor List

The ALL Careers approach to education connects environmental understanding with all career paths — not just the small subset traditionally labeled as “environmental careers.”  The goal is to inspire and equip young people with the knowledge that environmental principles are relevant in every field.

This effort includes a Green Business Mentors List, a list of sustainability-minded businesses interested in connecting with students. Mentors can make an impact through email exchanges, site visits, classroom presentations, internships, and more. If you're interested in becoming a Green Business Mentor, please fill out Youth and Green Business Mentors Form. It’s a meaningful opportunity to shape the next generation of professionals who value sustainability in every sector.
