Saturday, February 21 @ 6-8 p.m.
All ages welcome! Enjoy free glow jewelry for kids (while supplies last), pizza, and a family-friendly DJ. Children 6 and under must have an adult actively supervising in the water.

Sweatmates February Fitness Challenge

Grab your Sweatmate — a friend, partner, or teammate — and take on a month of movement, motivation, and mutual support. This challenge is designed to help you stay consistent, have fun, and push each other to new levels. Every week, you and your Sweatmate will tackle shared fitness goals, partner workouts, and friendly mini-challenges that test your teamwork and keep you both accountable.

Yoga for Osteoporosis 

Sunday, 2/1 @ 1:15 p.m.

  • We lose muscle and bone mass as we age, which can lead to falls that result in fractures. The goal of this workshop is to learn yoga-based tools to help maintain bone density and to improve balance and muscle strength to prevent falls. Instructor: Diane K.

Muscle Sculpt & Paint

Tuesdays, 2/3 - 2/24 @ 5 p.m.

  • Recharge your body and mind with this unique two-part class designed to energize and inspire! Start with strength training. Then, participants will join CBArt guided art experience focused on painting and creative expression. Instructor: Lindsey W

Laughter Yoga

Wednesday, 2/4 @ 5:45 p.m.

  • Laughter Yoga is a group activity that combines playful laughter exercises with deep breathing to boost mood, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being—no jokes or humor required. Rocky Mountain Devo Workshop

Wednesday, 2/4 @ 6 p.m.

Contrology Pilates- Reformer 

Tuesdays, 2/3-2/24 1-2 p.m.

  • Boost core strength, flexibility, and posture with personalized attention in a small class. Support your fitness and balance goals with resistance-based springs.  

Youth Water Mat Yoga 

Wednesdays, 2/4- 2/25 @ 5:30 p.m.

  • Water mat classes are in the pool on inflatable boards. Yoga on the water enhances balance and improves core strength while exercising in a unique and fun environment. Instructor: Gena W.

 From Stressed to Zen 

Thursdays, 2/5-2/26 @ 5 p.m.

  • This 4-part series is your invitation to pause. Inspired by the book From Stressed to Zen, each 75-minute session offers calming breath practices, simple awareness tools to help you reset your nervous system and reconnect to what truly matters. Instructor: Jill S.

Nutrition for Peak Performance

Thursday, 2/19 @ 11 a.m.

  • Finding the right nutritional balance is key to supporting peak performance throughout the life course. Whether you’re new to fitness, a weekend warrior, or an avid exerciser you can “up your game” and improve your overall wellness by fueling with the right foods.  Instructor: Diane K.

Triple Threat Bike Challenge

April 1 - May 16, 2026
Level up your cycling game in this challenge!  The Louisville Cyclery, Davis Phinney Foundation, and the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center are all partnering together to bring you this 6 week indoor and outdoor cycle program to get you ready for the goal ride, Tour De Victory which supports the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson's Disease.  A 6 week membership will be given to you to take any spin class or ride on your own at the recreation center. There will also be weekly Saturday rides hosted by the Louisville Cyclery. You choose your goal and distance from 20k, 50k or 100k bike race! A T- shirt is included in the registration fee.

Park Shelter Rentals Start February 2

Sunny days are on the horizon. Park shelter reservations for the 2026 season (May 1–October 31) open February 2 at noon for residents and February 9 at noon for non-residents. Whether it’s a family gathering, graduation, birthday party, or special event, you’ll need to reserve at least 7 days in advance. Book online or if you have any questions, contact Marla Olson at (303) 335-4735. Don’t forget to review the Park Shelter Rules & Guidelines, especially the Cancellation Policy, and keep your receipt as proof of reservation. Secure your spot and let the memories begin!
