Experience the Magic of the Fairy House Walk

Step into a whimsical world along the Louisville Arboretum trail! From Sept. 27–Oct. 5, discover delightful, imaginative fairy houses lovingly created by community members. Wander the path, admire the creativity, and soak in the enchantment. Come explore, connect, and let the magic inspire you.

Puzzle lovers unite! Drop in for a laid-back puzzle party with swaps, snacks, friendly competition, and puzzles from 100–1,000 pieces. All ages and skill levels welcome!

Get ready to wiggle, giggle, and groove! This upbeat caregiver-child music class blends music, silly fun, and positive messages. Babies under 6 months join free with sibling.

Dodge, duck, and blast! Join our Turf Gym Nerf battle—barricades, games, and all gear included. No signup—just pay admission/membership and jump into the action!

Konnichiwa Kids: Delving into Japan's Wonders

Ages 6-11 | Discover Japan’s vibrant culture! Explore calligraphy, origami, ikebana, martial arts, chopstick skills, and Japanese vocabulary—led by a native instructor for an authentic, hands-on adventure.

Spanish Explorers

Ages 6-11 | No passport needed! Students learn basic Spanish words through games, songs, art, and stories— while building vocabulary, confidence, and cultural awareness in a fun and engaging class.

Discover the fall StoryWalk® featuring Fletcher and the Falling Leaves by J Rawlinson Oct. 7–Nov. 2! Kickoff features craft and refreshments (first 30 guests). Enjoy the story along the park trail.

Parent - Tot Swim Classes

Fridays, starting 10/3 @ 9:15 a.m. or 4:15 p.m.
Build water confidence for ages 6 months–2 years! Parents join in as little ones learn water safety, floating, bubbles, kicking, and more. Swim diapers required

Mini Swim Lessons

We still have private mini swim lesson timeslots open Wednesday and Friday afternoons between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.! Openings currently run through October. More sessions added monthly.

Bring the whole family to the Louisville Rec Center Indoor Pools and catch yourself a spooky floating pumpkin from our aquatic pumpkin patch! After catching your floating pumpkin, take it into the decoration room and create your spooky masterpiece! Reserve your pumpkin today, no more than 2 pumpkins per household.
