Heads up, Louisville businesses! Parking enforcement will resume in late October.

Over the past year, businesses and residents may have noticed limited enforcement of parking violations in downtown Louisville. This was due to a vacancy in the City’s code enforcement position.

This week, the City welcomed Ben Kanner, our new Code Enforcement Officer with the Louisville Police Department. With this position now filled, the City will begin enforcing parking regulations again in late October. As a reminder, parking violations and penalties are outlined in Title 10 of the Louisville Municipal Code.

We recommend reminding your staff and patrons to respect posted signage for parking in downtown Louisville. We've attached a flyer you can put up in your business reminding folks to check posted signage.
