Get your hard-to-recycle voucher today

Calling all Louisville residents! We are excited to launch our NEW Hard-to-Recycle Voucher. Starting January 1, 2026, we are offering a one-time use, $25 voucher to Louisville residents to help cover the cost of recycling hard-to-recycle items at the Eco-Cycle Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials (CHaRM), located at 6400 Arapahoe Road in Boulder.

The City of Louisville expanded its partnership with Eco-Cycle to make those hard-to-recycle items easy-to-recycle all year long! This voucher has replaced our annual “Spring Cleaning” event so we can provide wider availability and year-round accessibility to you for recycling these materials. Voucher can be used before December 31, 2026.

There is a limited quantity of vouchers, so visit the Hard-to-Recycle Voucher website for more information and to claim yours today!

Council advances resilience, home hardening efforts

At the December 16 City Council meeting, Council discussed options for aligning with the state minimum Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) code, adding a city-wide ban on junipers, and city-wide defensible space landscaping standards to the City’s home fire hardening code for structures. Council directed staff to draft an ordinance for the city-wide ban on junipers and will be holding additional meetings to review options for the City’s WUI code and defensible space landscaping standards.
