Mindful Connections Event

Mindful Connections: An Afternoon of Mind, Body & Spirit

Thursday, April 30 @ 1 - 3 p.m.

Immerse yourself in an afternoon of mindfulness and holistic wellness. Experience gentle yoga techniques, discover grounding and meditation practices and much more. Bring your crystals and visit our charging station and enjoy relaxing chair or hand massages, a perfect blend of serenity and self-care.

Sunday, April 12 @ 1 p.m.
Teens and tweens are invited to slow down and recharge. This event is designed to support student mental wellness through fun, low-pressure activities that encourage relaxation and self-care.

Surf & Turf Night

Friday, April 17 @ 7- 9 p.m. 
Kids in grades 3-5 can enjoy the best of both worlds—splash in the pool and play in all three gyms. Activities include open swim, Nerf in the Turf, knockout basketball, music, pizza, soda, and more.

Multiple Race Dates Available
Participants aged 6-14 years old can join the USA Triathlon for a Spring Series, where participants swim and run in a supportive environment.

Hike OSMP trails with Naturalist Suzanne Michot and explore wildlife, geology, and history with views of the Flatirons. Meet at Chautauqua Dining Hall.

This is a blended online and in-person learning opportunity that will teach you to recognize, respond to, and help in case of a life threatening emergency.

Laughter Yoga

  • Laughter Yoga is a group activity that combines playful laughter exercises with deep breathing to boost mood, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being—no jokes or humor required. It promotes sustained, hearty laughter, offering a joyful way to laugh through life’s ups and downs. Instructor: Thomas

Piyo in the Park 

Tuesday, 4/14 - 5/22 @ 5:45 p.m.

  • Come enjoy practicing mindful yoga and Pilates outside in the fresh air! We will strengthen our core, tone and stretch our bodies, and practice short mindful meditations and guided relaxations to soothe our hearts and minds in this mixed-level practice. Instructor: Amanda

  • Boost core strength, flexibility, and posture with personalized attention in a small class. Support your fitness and balance goals with resistance-based springs. 

History Hike at Sanitas 

Saturday, 4/25 @ 1 p.m.

  • Join naturalist Suzanne Michot on a hike to discover Mt. Sanitas’ amazing geology, hidden rock Follies, and wildlife. Over three rocky miles you will gain about 500 feet and learn some of the history and geology of one of Boulder’s most interesting parks.

Triple Threat Bike Challenge

April 1 - May 16, 2026
Level up your cycling game in this challenge!  The Louisville Cyclery, Davis Phinney Foundation, and the Louisville Recreation & Senior Center are all partnering together to bring you this 6 week indoor and outdoor cycle program to get you ready for the goal ride, Tour De Victory which supports the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson's Disease.  A 6 week membership will be given to you to take any spin class or ride on your own at the recreation center. There will also be weekly Saturday rides hosted by the Louisville Cyclery. You choose your goal and distance from 20k, 50k or 100k bike race! A T- shirt is included in the registration fee.

Come join us to celebrate Earth Day with the Cities of Louisville and Lafayette at the second joint Earth Day, Every Day—a free, family-friendly outdoor event! Join us for live music, hands-on activities, eco-exhibitors, food trucks, a sustainable makers market, and fun for all ages. Learn simple ways to protect the planet while enjoying a day outside with the community.
